antjam is a generative art app where ants move around a canvas and make art in real-time. For ten minutes, the ants move around and make marks based on a number of effects which the user can influence. When the time is up, the finished drawing is presented, a new one starts, and everything repeats.

interact with it or let it run on its own - great for relaxing or running on your second monitor 😌

  • the grid: stamp-like marks made on a virtual grid
  • wavebrush: solid brush whose thickness is determined by a given wave function
  • zig-zags: "scribble-like" brush
  • spatters: old-skool spray paint style brush

controls

• click and drag on program knobs to change them
• R - reset with new seed
